Scrapblog.com, My New Favorite Thing

Thanks to Kellie, I was able to figure out how to beautify my blog! The Background is from thecutestblogontheblock.com and my banner is a template from scrapblog.com.

Scrapblog is so fun! I have unleashed my inner collage artist, and after taking my header almost completely as is (I only changed the text and pictures) I was ready to do one from scratch.

Here is the result. I am rather proud of it. It took FOREVER, but I am really happy with the way it looks (all the images are from their site, but I placed them, layered them, and chose the opacity, size, etc.). If you can't see it very well, the larger version is here.

Wow! Great blog background but the header is greater than great. I'd call it "phenomenal" ... and I love your picture in the sidebar that's like a ... well .. . I'd call it a pokemon card with the strengths and scores on it. Hilariously clever.
As for your Twilight review, it sounds like we are on the same page. I just start reading and then enjoy the ride. I don't worry too much about the author's skill unless it really interrupts the flow of the story. I actually loved how it ended. I was especially thrilled with Bella's "coming into her own". A ballet? Maybe. The poem? I loved it. You are very talented. I'd still stick with the book though. I like to imagine the characters in my own head.
And they can keep right on telling me how nice Edward looks too. It isn't bothering me at all.
Favorite movie actors? I'm a big Harvey Keitel fan. I have a ridiculous crush on him. I saw him in "the piano" way back when it was on TV (and edited) and I just fell for him. Loved him in National Treasure too.
Of course, I like the pretty boys also ... but usually, I like the bad boys. That makes me a big Jeremy Irons fan and a huge Alan Rickman fan. Sure I like their goody goody counterparts: Quigley Down Under's Tom Selleck and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' Kevin Costner ... but give me a bad boy any day. And give me their theme music too.

OK. This comment is way too long, I just wanted you to know that I got all read up on your blog and I love it. I suspected that you are a major brain ... but your posts prove it. Wow. I know a genius!

Blog on! And thanks for visiting my blog too.
